Great product for the price.
This a good product and does the job. Not perfect but works great. It's a must have when removing popcorn. Most of the popcorn goes in the bag. My suggestion use a grocery bad. You will need alot but it will save your wrist the pain. The bag gets heavy quick. You'll switch the bag often. The clips can get missing easy when changing bags so remove them and put to the side. I found my self digging them out of the bag full of popcorn.

Useless... too flimsy, doesn't work well on painted ceilings.
What shall I say... this tool is totally useless. I tried to remove popcorn (painted) from a room. This too simply didn't work. Switched to a drywall blade and got the job done easily.Do not buy!

Just get a regular scraper
I purchased this never having done popcorn removal before. I’ve watched a ton of videos online about how to do it. I attached the bag, clipped it on, wet the ceiling, waiting a minute for the water to penetrate the ceiling, then started scraping. The tool is effective at scraping. The clips do not hold the bag on. The clips slip off and fall into the bag. The frame for the bag to attach keeps you about 1” away from the edge of the wall. I gave up on the bag, and just laid a Dollar Tree tarp on the floor and scraped it. I have to go around the entire perimeter of the room with a smaller scraper to remove the bits that this particular scraper wouldn’t reach.I recommend a normal scraper and drop cloths or plastic drop cloths.

Catches more than you'd think, with a slight modification
Bought this to scrap almost 1,000 sq ft of ceiling. I was skeptical, but figured catching some of the debris was better than nothing. I was lucky in the fact that my ceilings were not repainted except for one room. I used this scraper by hand with my head up by the ceiling the entire time; no extension pole. I did this as I didn't want to risk digging into the drywall. It was definitely a lot of up and down the ladder, but the result was worth it. Half the ceiling I did was vaulted (about 12ft high). This thing caught more than I was expecting. I would say it caught 90 - 95% of the popcorn. For my catch bag, I just used a plastic bag from a store (nothing special). I never took the bag off. Instead, I dumped it into a garbage bag. Yes, there was still a fine white powder on the floor, but this is unavoidable unless you somehow use a vacuum at the same time. I still used a plain scraper for the edges and going around fixtures. You could definitely tell where I did this as there was more debris on the floor.I did slightly modify the bar that holds the bag. I bent/bowed it out just a bit so it would hang in front of the scraper more. Upon first use, it appeared to me that the popcorn was going right past the bag. The bar is very rigid, but I only bowed it out maybe an inch total in the middle, probably less. By doing this, the popcorn fell right into the bag. I was also careful not to bow it so much that it made it narrower than the scraper.A little finessing and taking your time goes a long way with this.

This device works very well. It's does not get every bit of popcorn, but it is way less mess!
