Probably 329 seeds? Excellent germination. Must cover!
It's funny they know there are 329+ seeds in the packet, and not possibly 328. Per my eyeballing, 300+ seeds does sound about right (the trick is to eyeball how big a cluster of 10 is, then count 10 of those, which are 100 seeds, then see if the total pile is big enough to harbor 3 such 100x clusters). It's not necessarily the best seed value for such a common variety of such a common plant. As shown in the photo, if you live near Dollar Tree, their 25-cent seed packets give you about 50 seeds, and DT seeds have performed as well for me as more expensive sources (after 15 years of gardening). But of course, their seed display is mobbed by March, so if you're shopping for seeds in May, this may very well be your best bet.The quality is excellent. As you can see, half of the seeds I sowed have germinated after a mere 3 days. Note how the half I didn't cover with soil (the top half) shows no germination, but the other half have turned into a dense cluster of seedlings. If I had covered both halves, I'd've got close to 100% germination. Btw, I sowed these in a mini-greenhouse (that is to say, a milk jug - Google "winter sowing"; it's a game changer!) It's also much easier to just scatter them on the soil, then scatter more soil on top, rather than trying to bury them in existing soil. They're big long poky seeds that don't get buried easily.I'll update this review later this summer when they (hopefully) bloom! In which case, this should be the last time I need to buy seeds!

Well established company, ample seeds appear to be of good quality
The Home Grown brand is a product of EAK Distribution, LLC which was established in 2015 and markets several different gardening-related brands. The seeds were well packed in a typical paper envelope which was enclosed in a zip-lock plastic sleeve. A sticker on the sleeve indicates the seeds were packed in 2025 with a sell-by date of 12/2025. The seeds appear to be well prepared, clean and dry. I have just today started the seeds and will report later in a review update if there are any problems with germination or type of Marigold. The package does not indicate a species name or that they are French Marigolds but the photo on package looks right. It just says "Petite Marigold". The QR code on the package for "Digital Grow Guide" does NOT give you that at all, it simply takes you to a web page with a list of "best sellers", mostly vegetable seeds, customer reviews, and nothing at all about marigolds. For that reason, I dropped it down from 5 stars to 4 stars.

Can't Wait for My Little Blooms!
I just got these seeds – they're HOME GROWN Petite French Marigolds. They look like really good quality, and they came packaged up nicely. The package clearly says "petite Marigold" on it, and it even tells you there are over 329 seeds inside! It also says they're heirloom seeds and that they were packed this year (2025) with a "sell by" date of December 2025. It's good to know they're fresh! Plus, they've got a bunch of ways to contact the company printed right on the pack – a phone number, email, and website.I'm so excited to plant these little beauties and watch them grow! I can already picture all the colorful flowers.

HEIRLOOM SEEDS
HOME GROWN brand HEIRLOOM Petite French Marigold Seeds - 329+ Premium Flower 𝗨𝗦𝗔 Seeds for Planting Outdoors.Marigolds are easy to grow. These seeds are HEIRLOOM seeds. This means if the Marigolds are allowed to go to seed, those seeds can be harvested, stored and planted to grow the next year's marigolds.I have no issue with the $5.99 price for this American product. I think the $10.00 list price is high.I won't know how these grow and flower until later in the year. Bad or good, I'll try to remember come back and update this review.
