I got this since I couldn't find the original one, this is the same spec as the OEM version so this has enough power to drive the motor and thermal print head.

Power outage caused Zebra thermal printer not to work - replaced cord with this cord - working again!!

Doesn’t work well with my Zebra 2844
The adapter doesn’t provide the proper power supply for my Zebra 2844. The barcode on the shipping label is lighter than the rest of the label (even with the darkness setting turned up as high as it’ll go) and there are broken lines in the barcode. In the 7 years that I’ve been using the printer, I’ve never had this issue until I started using this adapter.

I purchased this to use a handheld vacuum for the car inside house as well but for some reasons it didn't give enough power to operate. Thia could be a user error but I don't knowuch about electric anyway. Sorry.
