I WISH I HAD TAKEN PICTURES.Although I first thought this product was a great choice, especially because of the essential oils (they present a natural defense to ear mites), I found that 2 of my 3 cats had severe reactions. Both cats had an allergic type of reaction, with raised bumps, itching, scratching, pink-ish / red colored skin, etc. One cat especially suffered; all of the hair on both ears fell off, her skin was red, and was obviously irritated. I had to treat both cats with benzocaine to prevent them from scratching, hydrocortisone to help with itching, and antibiotic ointment to promote healing. They took several days to heal, and several treatments to get them there.I believe the ONLY reason the 1st cat did not suffer was because he was treated once. The treatment was much shorter and faster than the other two cats, as he is grumpy and uncooperative. Much less product was used during his treatment. Be very aware if you use this product. If so, I would advise to use sparingly (once at first), clean all surrounding areas well with mild soapy water, rinse and dry, and to monitor very closely.

This company is awesome!It is wonderful to have another alternative out there ready to go into your cat's ears to get rid of the mites without the chemicals that would be flung around and hit you once the cat shakes out their ears! If anything hits you..it is only essential oils on you and your floor..ha ha!You have to be patient..the life cycle of a mite can make your issue last 2-3 weeks...but I just did 7 days on every other day, and 7 off and then hit up the second half of the mite cycle with olive oil drops to smother the mites. I cleaned the ears out with q-tips being careful not to hurt the cat, to get all the black mite stuff before I put any drops in and then again after 5 minutes when my cat is done shaking his head. (Listen to your cat..they will tell you if they like you touching their ears..my cat purrs...ha!) I talk really sweet to my cat, so he knows I am trying to help him, etc. (Some really bad mite situations can take up to 4-6 weeks-with using olive oil alone..but the last part of the month it is easier as there is very little mites left-etc.)This stuff really works, but like anything natural, you have to be patient, because it works with your cat and the immunity of the planet. You are basically smothering the mites, then repelling them with the essential oils. It works! Also, after I put in the ear drops I let cat shake it out..then wipe all the excess oils around ears off..the best I can. The cat will lick that stuff until it is all gone...so in order to help the cat, I help get rid of oil under ear..etc. The oils will still be there.. just not as much to annoy the cat, you will know if too much oil is on them, because they will lick themselves into a Mohawk hairstyle with their obsessive cleaning ways. I found this out with trial and error, first time, cat had a wet Mohawk..so I washed the cats head...tried again..next time,...wiped it..and my cat liked it much better.The company actually send me out a free product after the first one.If chemicals are a pet-peeve of yours also, be patient and give this a shot, if you aren't patient or don't mind dangerous chemicals, this might not be for you..but I recommend the product to everyone to give it a try, so you can open your mind, and use less toxins in our world for your cat's health and the health of the planet too!

Ok, I saw some of the more damning reviews after trying this and having cat that smelled like clove and looked liked a junkyard kitty (no offense, if you have one of those). I was thinking what a fair few people on here had thought "Why didn't I take the BLUE pill." As I read through the worst reviews, I thought that I should return it and get something else, but everything else has so many chemicals. And, she had relief by the end of that day anyways. Also, the smell isn't all that strong.Here's the thing. It works and it does that without the need for a ton of terrible chemicals. I had a dog years ago and used Hartz flea meds on it (was my first time owning a dog). The Hartz flea meds made my dog seize for 7 hours straight. They said it was "a bad batch." So one of the major alternatives on Amazon for ear mite meds for dogs and cats is Hartz. Nope, I'm going au natural if I can.This stuff did leave an oil mark on the side of my cat's face for a few days. The oil didn't get on anything else. I did make my cat scratch at the back of her ear, which removed a few light tufts of hair but not to the point where she was bald. So, sure, it wasn't perfect in looks, but it does work amazingly well and brought almost instant relief. The whole thing cleared up in about 4-5 days, and many fun jokes were shared about the way she looked. It was a great experience.I also received this note from the company.
