We hung this in my boys playroom they are 4 and 2 and we have another baby on the way. It was a little difficult to hang, I would recommend having two people but other than that I love it!! The product is thicker than typical contact paper probably due to what makes it magnetic so I think that’s why I was having trouble hanging it. Once my husband came in to help we got it up no problem. The packaging states to put it on a smooth wall, but our walls are slightly textured. The texture shows a little and we had to work some bubbles out but it looks fine. I plan to put a wood frame around it just to make it look more finished. Magnets stick to it perfectly and it’s easy to write on and erase the chalk! It even comes with some chalk and magnets and a squeegee to help apply it to your surface. (I took the magnets it came with away from my boys because they are super strong and slightly small and I didn’t want them to accidentally eat one.) I think this will be a new favorite in our house since we didn’t have anywhere for the boys to play with magnets or chalk!

I am a kindergarten teacher and I have been looking for a way to cover my ugly cabinets for a couple of years. I stumbled across this Chalknetic magnetic paper on Amazona and I was thrilled. Not only would this cover up the cabinets but it would be useful to my students by providing a place they could build words with magnetic letters and write on with chalk.Update Just wanted to share that this is still going strong one year later!I was disappointed when they were out of stock so I hunted down the makers on Facebook. They were very responsive and helpful. They let me know when the product was back in stock so I could order. I immediately ordered two excited that was Prime shipping available. The paper arrived rolled up and well packaged. It was easy to apply but you need two people to apply it because it is heavier than regular paper.I was struck by how simple the paper was to apply to the cabinets and how much of a difference it makes to the ascetics of the cabinet. I put magnets on it right away to see how useful it was. The magnets did not slide and stayed in place overnight. I am extremely satisfied with this product and I will be purchasing five more rolls as soon as I can. I can't wait for my kinders to use this!not only is this a great product but the makers are super friendly and helpful!!Update: still holding up and looks great!

When I was looking for a magnetic chalkboard I kept coming across these aesthetically pleasing ones that were very expensive! I couldn’t see spending over $100 on something my toddler may not use! What I liked about this was that it can be placed horizontally or vertically and doesn’t take up much room! Not only can be used for magnets but chalk! We had no problem applying it onto the wall very quick and easy! Seemed to stick very well. Easy to clean! Material feels very heavy duty. After a few days I did notice that the ends started to come up very slightly maybe after like a week but can be pressed back down and haven’t traveled up. Overall I’m very pleased with the product.

I searched for something that would work on my non-magnetic frig. This works quite well. The adhesive is perfect. The chalkboard magnetism isn’t real strong, but most of my magnets work great. Heavy magnets that use a metal disk don’t work as well, but magnetic tape strips used for most decorative magnets you buy today are plenty strong. I cut one chalkboard into two to put on my frig.

Easy installation. Stuck to the wall really well. Holds a ton of magnets.

Bought this for the inside of a kitchen cabinet - super disappointed. It's not really magnetic at all, all magnets just slide right off and there's zero possibility of a magnet holding anything like a postcard to it. It's also so stupidly sticky that it's nearly impossible to get off without taking all of the underlying paint/surface with it. Wish I never put this anywhere near my kitchen!

Lo uso hace par de años y primero era una pizarra para mi hija y luego lo despegamos y movimos a otro lugar y funciona para hacer planes mensuales. Sigue siendo muy útil.

Did not stick to wall for more than a couple hours. However, the material is nice and thick so I am considering nailing it to the wall. Can only use very light magnets on it. Works well as a chalk board.
