Fun With 3 Build Options, But Not For First Timers
My RamblingsWe do a lot of building blocks from wood & plastic to magnetic and enjoy any challenge there in. That being said, let’s take a closer look at this kit.To the Point or TL;DRThree build options. Not for young ones or beginners. Similar to several other block brands. Optional app for control, but not necessary. Good quality control. Instructions had mistake with correction sheet. And personally, I dislike needing to add stickers, but I have a tip for that. The Good StuffThese are a decent quality and fun to build. Must thank the maker for catching and correcting the mistake in the instructions and including an updated page in the booklet (taped into place). It was a good challenge for my 12 year old. Also, really nice that I didn’t need to download yet another app just to play with it. You can, but it is optional. Overall, not bad.The Tip StuffClean with rubbing alcohol and use tweezers. So anytime I must apply stickers to my plastic building blocks, I always use a cotton ball or old scrap piece of shirt to clean the piece, finger tips, and tweezers with rubbing alcohol. Let dry for just a minute or two, then use tweezers to peel sticker off backing and slowly/gently apply to piece. Once you have it placed, I rub it down gently with my finger until feel a little friction heat. Takes a little practice, but worth it. Stickers from 10 years ago are still stuck well. The Bad StuffStickers. I dislike stickers that I must add. Blah!! Also, this is not for young ones. I think it would be too challenging for a beginner or someone younger without the experience needed.Who May Use/Like ItThose who enjoy building, disassembling, and understanding structures.Me Final ThoughtsIt’s fun. Not the best or worst of what we have. Worth it? I’m on the fence. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Hope it helps! All the best, Just BenjaminReviewed: Brand: QHECTTY Cost: $43.99 at time of review.STEM Building Toys for Kids 6-14, Remote & APP Controlled 3in1 STEM Dinosaur Motorcycle Robot Building Kit for Kid with Music Spray, 646 Pcs Building Blocks Set Birthday Xmas Gift Ideas for Boys Girls

Creating fun, patience, and responsibility all in one
This stem building toy dinosaur motorcycle remote control is so much fun. There are 3 different styles of building that can be achieved with the instructions provided. This set has a lot of little pieces and more pieces than I expected there to be. It is pretty intricate and doesn't seem like it is for beginners. If it is being used for beginners, I could easily see how this could be a fun way to instill patience and responsibility as well as imagination with a child. My 12 year old put this together and said it was alot of fun, but a couple of spots frustrated him. He said that he figured them out and felt more accomplished when he did. It is fun to control and move around once all of the work has been put into building the robot. It is definitely a good quality stem building set. Worth every bit of it.

So fun!
So much fun! My children had an amazing time putting these together and playing with them. They work great after you put them together. Perfect for keeping little ones busy and I love how it teaches them STEAM. I highly recommend! Worth the price!

Not for 6+!!!
This is not for 6+, maybe 10+.Now 6+ for operating the toy but most definitely not for assembly. As an adult took me three hours just to get through three pages of the assembly process and the assembly directions are abysmal at best.

STEM Robot Kit
These kits are very cool! They are put together almost like Legos and then you are able to move them around and control them with a smart phone I got one for each of my nephews for Christmas, and can confirm they are "cool" approved by a 12 & 13 year old boy! They were very excited to build them.

Interesting set, good parts but some baffling engineering oddies
This set's parts are really very close to the fit of Brand Lego, with only a few that I found slightly loose or tight in the fit. I made the first model, which is the largest one, and had quite a few parts left over as spares, so parts were complete plus a bit. The manual is only slightly less clear than the brand named ones, as only a few missteps were made by myself, and those might have been caused by abit of a rush as we've had much company over the holidays and just getting back into building modes.I liked the basic concepts, and the motors ran quite well, propelling the monster/animal into some fairly humorous actions. I was disappointed that the only controls that you could use the remote for was just the driving of the larger propelling 2 wheels, independently so that you could turn in various modes and spin in place, but you had no control of the "fog/spray/mist/breath" or the eye light. The sound could be turned off or on but that was it for the 2 channel controller. The mist to me was quite disappointing, as you could barely see it if you watched closely. The eyes did some flashing and sound went though various small routines, but nothing that could be really controlled independently of the drive. Perhaps these things can be controlled with a app, but I'm old school and use a phone for communications and a computer for apps. I couldn't see how I could use my computer on this toy.I really didn't like that to even turn on the "bot" you needed to remove part of the belly of the model. In the manual it shows it "disconnecting" in a certain spot, but it refused all attempts of separating there, and mainly with some force it disconnected in various ways. In the picture you can see the "belly" off as the easiest way to get to the on/off switch. Certainly this could be improved someway with better engineering. And recharging it is also somewhat hard to do when it's all together. With tweezers I managed to make the very small mini plugs that wired the head, but I did need to remove parts (which otherwise fell off anyway, in much worse configurations) to get to the back for plugging them in. And the head continued to fall off repeatedly. I didn't put the extreme amount of decals on it, as they're only shown in placement in the last pictures of the build, and by that time I wasn't going to take the time and patience for the things.Perhaps some of the other 2 models were a better build, but I did like the look of the leading one better than the simpler "bots". Here again, I wish that I could give half stars because I would give this 3.5, as it's not in my mind good enough for a 4 recommendation, but on the whole a fairly interesting build; if with some "warts". And it has some very usable parts for MOC's, but for the price it's somewhat expensive if that's all you're going to use it for. Nice greys and some sand blue though. The GOOD: Decent fit/finish of parts, VERY close to Brand LEGO fit with few exceptionsNice complete manual for 3 builds, with a complete parts listOverall a decent looking finished model that drives well and amusingly with the controllerParts compete with some sparesNice box for storage, right sized and decent pictures, giftableThe Iffy: No brick separator (I know, we all have tons but some might not)Some modules on model tend to fall off at timesUpper arms somewhat too loose to stay up most of the time (did some pin separation to fix)I personally find the "mist" breath really "gimmicky" and not very well performedSome building sequences make things much harder to build than necessary IMHOThe Bad: Need to dismantle partially to turn on toy, and it doesn't easily separate and not as shownHard to get to recharging port when builtVery hard to get mini plugs into unit when done in order of build
