This is a loud and easy to install unit but beware some states may consider the sounds illegal on your vehicle as they sound just like police and emergency vehicle sirens. Great value for the money and I would recommend to anyone looking for a off-road unit.

The horn and siren tones are surprisingly loud and accurate representations of police/fire/EMS siren tones. I especially like the horn. The public address function is too soft to really be useful. The wires are way too short for the average installation. Most people would accept splicing onto the power wires, but the microphone cable only reached half way from the grill to the passenger compartment. Splicing that cable takes some soldering skill. The mic cable looks like a telephone cable, but it's not. A standard phone cable with RJ-11 plugs will not work.

It worked for maybe 30 minutes. The mic is terrible. Sirens were ok and fairly loud. After about 20 to 30 minutes and not continually. It started making a popping sound and constant static coming from the speaker.

I wired these into the floodlight plugs, had to splice everything together to get it to work but as long as you follow the colors, it’s great. I put one under the battery and one in about the same location on the other side.

This is one of those items you would get for a novelty. It is definitely a low quality build and I don't know how it will last over time. But the sound is great! The mic feels like a Happy Meal toy because it is thin plastic with a metal pop screen that is for looks only. The actual microphone inside it is a basic cheap circuit so the mic, while functional, is way larger than it needs to be, mainly for looks I guess. It is a simple two wire setup and I am not sure the cord is long enough but it might be. The mic connects to the bullhorn style speaker through what looks like a RJ45 style jack. In short, I feel like I could have found this elsewhere for less than half the price but they got it to me quickly and I'm happy with it for the most part.UPDATE: Approaching 8 months with it installed in my Jeep. It has been a lot of fun. Sirens are much louder than PA function. My only real complaint is that I have to literally scream into the PA to be loud enough for someone to hear me 40 feet away. Should Approach with caution and be mindful of local and state laws regarding siren and emergency devices. Would be very cool offroad on an ATV or something like that. I would buy it again but not for the price I paid for this one. Fun to repeatedly push the mic button to distort the sounds. Pretty funny stuff you can do with it.

You get what you pay for. The sirens are very loud and I’m very pleased with that, but the microphone is very quiet. You have to put your mouth right up on it for anyone to hear it. And the wires to power it as well as the microphone cord are all very short. If you buy, you’ll have to get some extra wire for it to reach

Installed on my side x side ! Very easy to install and is a lot of fun on 26 acres using the different tones !! It gets a lot of attention even from the neighbors !! The PA is a big help when working in the pasture and you need something just get on the mic and talk !We have a lot of fun and would recommend itto add something different to a other wise boring routine !!!

my first one didnt last a week. i threw it away. and then patrol asked how it worked. i told them it died after a week. they were sorry to hear that and said they would give me a refund or they would send me a new one. free of charge. without having to send the old one back, that i threw away.. I chose to try another one. now that is on herd of now days. trusting me at my word. i am old school and a Vietnam vet three combat tours . and i am 67. i am old school. and to me this company is awesome . i am impressed . these guys are great.. thanks again patrol.
