"The Classic Racing Game". Only it isn't!
"The Classic Racing Game". Only it isn't! The original game has more cards making the flow of the game play more fluid. To get over this the rules have been simplified. There is no longer a "Shut Out" bonus nor is there the option of a "Delayed Trip" since the discard pile is endlessly recycled. My old French version is much better once you understand the names of the cards and download the classic game rules in English. Had I bought these for myself I would have returned them as "not fit for purpose" or "not as described". I purchased them as gifts after recommending the game to the recipients. It was quite embarrassing as the game has lost so much in this version and the players quickly got bored. The sabot is not nearly as robust as in the original version.I was delighted with the speed of supply however.
