I actually returned this book. But I'm still giving it 5 stars because the company had such outstanding service.About the book itself, it was beautiful for the price. Pages on the thin side, but that kind of has to happen with a whole Bible or it's just going to be too thick and heavy for the binding to not fall apart. You could definitely see print from the other side - which wasn't a problem with the text in black ink. But in the New Testament with the Savior's words in red - that was trouble. It was very hard to read since the red wasn't as dark and the bleed through was distracting to the point that I wanted to stop reading.So I called the company directly. Unfortunately all of their editions for this book now have that red ink. They took my contact info and researched all of their collections. They found me a different edition for close to the same price point that was still large print, but was entirely in black ink. Returning this red ink edition went smoothly and the refund was prompt.I also did a lot of research on my own and I'm finding that with any French Bible, the larger the font, the more the words on the back side "bleed" through. It kind of makes sense. When I look at my old French Bible with size 7 font, you can also see the faint bleed too. It just becomes more apparent with a larger font. I think it was worth the trade, but would stay away from red ink.Important to note - one of the best packaging jobs I've ever seen with a book. It arrived in pristine condition without excessive weight or bulk. Having to pay a bit extra for shipping was worth it for the quality of the job.

I am learning French. I thought it would be interesting to read the Bible in French. This is a beautiful book, and I appreciate the larger text. Shipping was quick, and it was packed very well. Recommended.

But I like it very much, so much I use it every Sundays almost because of it's heavyweight I can't seem to cary it every Sundays for service because it doesn't fit some of my purses, but do not get me wrong I like it a lot, I like the fact that I can read it without my glasses, cause the scriptures are very big so much one don't really need glasses to read it.

The bible came earlier than expected and the quality itself is great. I usually don’t leave reviews but I was so happy to receive it today that I think it deserves the 5 stars and a good review. The print are big and the translation exactly as I wanted.
