I got three pieces in my kit, a dji mic 2 fitting but no Allen wrench with changeable platesThe adapter plate fits however there's a 2mm gap, I'm assuming its to provide room for a thin coverIts also black instead of red like the photos shown.At 50 bucks id say this kit is way over priced

I don't know why but my sound keeps coming out muddy from the built in sound. I love using this mount for my DJI Mic 2 to get even better sound. I have not tried it with my new DJI Mic Mini yet to see how it works with that.

Well, I have to admit I missed that this is specifically made for the DJI mic, but I have found it useful for my existing wireless lavs that use an 1/8" jack. It mounts to the side and as long as you do it right, it gets swallowed inside the stitch and you don't see it in your 360 shots.The design is sturdy anodized metal and comes with two sized shoes for the DJI 1 or 2. I found the 2 worked with my existing mic. The audio cable is gold plated and clean.It does come with it's own allen key to toss in your kit.

This xmount kit is exactly what I needed for my motorcycle camera setup. Durable aluminum and lightweight so it doesn’t weight down my camera like other setups. Comes with shoe mount adapters for the mic 1 and mic 2. Definitely a quality product here.

update: i just want to give a kind shout out to the very kind-hearted, attentive, great soul of a small business vendor who not only addressed my concern with the missing part but assembled what i might say to be an Xmount360 care package, with a handwritten letter, and an invitation to connect if also in hawaii, where he is located. sometimes it is the little things. made my day. support small businesses doing great work, led by good souls!--so you have a DJI Mic 1 or 2 and you'd like to get the receiver hooked up to your insta360 X3 or X4 for 2 mic podcasts and the like, in the most minimalistic way possible. look no further. this handy set includes a metal L-shaped bar, a bottom insta360 mounting screw, two side screws to mount the DJI Mic 1 or 2-compatible adapter, an Allen wrench, and a USB cable. my kit was missing some critical parts (metal bar and USB cable), and the seller has been kind enough to arrange delivery of the missing parts, so no stars will be detracted for that purpose. the trick to getting the DJI Mic receiver hooked up is to get rid of the bottom door and slide in the receiver as seen in the product pic. maybe there were instructions in the full version? mine was missing parts. no instructions either. anywhoo. handy to have and excellent customer support. 5 stars.

This would be perfect for mounting the DJI Mic 1 or 2 receiver in the seam line of the x3 or x4. However, I have a cage on mine and this will not fit. If the hole in the bottom was oblong to allow 1/4 shift, this would be perfect. As it is, to use it I need to remove the camera from the cage, install my quick release on the bottom and put it all back together when done. Hopefully the manufacturer will make this simple but necessary modification to future releases. For those who don't use a cage, but are looking for a good solution to mounting your wireless DJI mic receiver, this is definitely the way to go!
