Those lock nuts are perfect, they keep my bike rack stable over many many bumps. rarely I have to tighten but it's my fault because I don't do it tight enough. They don't strip easily either, I kept tightening roughly with a wrench that kept slipping. Those nuts were in humid and watery conditions many times, absolutely no rust.
