Beautiful build
This was a really fun winter lego build we did as a family. There were so many cool pieces, fun elements to the house, and thoughtful details. Another Lego win!

Great Lego set!
I purchased this for my 14 year old son, who likes Lego kits. He really enjoyed putting this one together and it is perfect for a teen or adult that wants a Lego set that isn’t like the typical child set. It looks great in his room on the shelf and was well worth the price!

Everything I would expect from LEGO!
This is a great build with lots of fun details (like all of the LEGO sets my son has done)! Last year, my younger son and I decided to start a holiday tradition and build a Christmas village by doing one Christmas build per year. This was supposed to be a project to do together, but my little 6-yr-old LEGO Master knocked this entire thing out completely on his own in less than 3 days! Guess we’ll need something more challenging for next year!

It's Lego...what is not to like?
My grown daughter LOVES, LOVES, LOVES all the Christmas lego sets. For the past many years, she has been trying to collect them all. So, for her birthday and Christmas each year, I've been buying her a set or sets, including some retired, to catch her up! With the purchase of the Alpine Lodge, she has them all (at least all the current since she's been collecting). The Alpine Lodge is her favorite. Each year at the holidays, she builds her entire village. Then, she takes them apart and stores until the next year. Beginning this year, she will have to start leaving some built and she has too many to build every Christmas. Lego is SUCH a quality product. Can't wait to see what they release this fall to add to the Christmas collection!

Continuously Impressed with Lego
Every year or so I'll get the itch for a Lego set, and I've never been disappointed. As you go through and execute the very detailed photo instructions, things reveal themselves in the perfect way. You'll find yourself completing a part, or realizing what you are building at several points and go "ohhhhhh" and get that same satisfaction as watching a time-lapse extreme cleaning video or whatever floats your boat. The Alpine Lodge was no exception! Every person I've showed has mentioned the little toilet paper roll in the outhouse, and obviously the lit fireplaces are a hit.Three tiny complaints: Maybe my eyes stink, but the photos could definitely be bigger/clearer (mostly the latter,) in some instances where very fine detail is necessary. This was also the first set I've had that was missing two pieces from the same bag. And lastly, that tiny battery for the light is just silly. A significantly larger cell could have been used with very little change. You KNOW I have to show that part off to everybody that sees it; having it be usable for longer is mutually beneficial.

easy build
It went together well, and works with lighting kits. Looks good.

Christmas tradition
I absolutely love the Christmas winter village series. We build one together as a family every December and my kids look forward to it every year. Such good quality with interesting new legos. I haven’t built this exact set yet but my kids love playing with them every year and all the little people and pieces.
