I have purchased several similar fans from Amazon over the past 5-6 years to use for additional cooling at night in the summer months. This one is the best. Very well-made with a fairly quiet motor (it's high velocity) and great cooling capacity. It may be slightly more expensive than the Amazon recommended fans, which are the two I had previously purchased, but it is much more solidly built and hopefully longer-lasting.

This big ugly loud fan really moves air. While not as loud as it could be it is still pretty loud. My place traps heat due to a flat roof that was cheaply replaced with no insulation. The old roof was better. So I have to actively remove the heat as it builds up in my large place. I have a number of other fans and at this point I only use two of these and they work better and quickly than the multiple Voronado types I have.

This is a great fan for moving a lot of air and is far superior to those box fans with plastic blades. It's big around but narrow enough to tuck out of the way and it can be hung on the wall or ceiling. It creates a strong breeze in the small room I'm trying to keep cool. I set it on low and get plenty of circulation. I gladly trashed the 2 box fans it is replacing. There is no comparison in terms of performance. It's a sturdy, stable on the floor, and well worth the slight increase in cost from the typical box fan.

Works great! Even speed one is powerful! Helps cool down our bedroom.

Not bad. Ours has a slight squeal on low speed. So at night it gets set on medium or high. Other than that it's fine.
