Could it be used to slice cold meat e.g. ham ?

It works fine for me with ham, corned beef and hot meats. Cleaning the slot is a little fiddly , but worth the result.

What’s the size of the blade? Or what is the height of the bread it can slice?

what is the maximum thickness this will cut

the cutter that we use will cut a slice of bread about an inch and go down to about half of that as stated. Then you run into trouble
