i have worn mine for quite a while and they are robust and good in wet condition and don't slip. however, i hadn't realized they were described as leather and if they were it is not only unacceptable but I suspect against trading standards rules.

Yes, but as they are made of leather and are a robust walking shoe rather than a flip flop they are really too good for the beach and would be ruined by salt water
