Dog won't eat these, There Soft and fall apart

My dog loves the Chicken Jerky Cuts. The chicken does not fall apart; however, I look for a fresh red color which I think indicates freshness. Unfortunately, I have received from Amazon bags of a dark, unappealing color that my dog won't eat. The beef, duck or any combination are soft and crumble. I use them as bites like the travel container. Nothing concerning this product is refundable or exchangeable.

why do you use vegetable glycerin and sugar?

I don’t know but all 3 of my dogs absolutely love them. 6:30 every night they start begging for them. They get one every other day as I alternate with a different treat

Why did they remove the glucosamine and chondroitin?

I have no idea. My girls arent as fond of these as they are True Chews. Both are Blue Buffalo, but the True's are softer and have a better smell to them. I'm just giving Omegas and Chondroitin supplements.
