I purchased this to fix an expensive issue. I have an RV refrigerator that is no longer made. It keeps blowing the original 5 amp fuse on the control board. Using a blown fuse, I soldered two 12 gauge wires to each end and then soldered the other ends to this circuit breaker. Since an amp meter showed that the max amp draw was 5 amps, this will work to keep my refrigerator working, without a very expensive replacement.
