Ultrasun SPF30 Transparent Sports Gel 400ml

Absiolutely superb - and is my go to for sun protection when I'm running in the mountains. clear when applied and leaves no streaky white marks. easily dispensed into small tubes which I can carry in my running pack. easily aborbed into skin and seems to be pretty sweat-proof.

A very good sun oil. Easy to apply and soaks in well.

I first used this suncream about 3 years ago when it was only available on QVC but am so glad it is now available here and in duty-free as it really is the best I've ever used.I am very fair, lots of freckles and burn easily and hate having to carry around a ton of suncream on holiday, especially when I go to theme parks and on boat trips and things when reapplication is a pest. I've always looked to the all day protection but found the Piz-Buin one wore off and the P20 stained my clothes. After using Ultrasun on about 6 holidays now, I wouldn't use anything else.I have tried the face one, the glimmer one, the family one and the sport one:- The family one is great if you like a traditional cream that you can see going onto the skin - it's lovely and thick and you can really see that you've managed to cover everywhere.- The face is similar but less thick so as not to block your pores.- The glimmer is my mum's favourite and is essentially the sports one with some light shimmer/glitter in it.- Whist I like the glimmer and family ones, this sport one is my favourite. The consistency is sort of a cross between a gel and a liquid which means that it goes on really easily and quickly. If you've used P20, it's similar to that but it is clear so doesn't stain and it dried really quickly so that you don't spend ages waiting to get dressed after applying. In terms of protection, we have found that it really does last all day and has protected us for days at the pool etc. The only times that I have really felt the need to reapply are on days when I am in and out of the water and in the sun all day like at a water park.In terms of how far this will go, my sister and I usually share a bottle. We are both tall (5'9" and 6') and find that the ultrasun guidance of 150ml per person/per week is absolutely sufficient for us. For a 2 week holiday, we would buy 2 of these bottles to be on the safe side but usually end up bringing some home.

It works when you follow the directions. Don't apply immediately after getting out of the shower as it can sting your face. The main ingredient is alcohol. I used this for 3 weeks in Dubai, Bali, Singapore and Sri Lanka. We were in very hot and humid conuntries and we didn't burn. It's a big bottle and certainly lasted for 2 adults for the whole trip. I haven't given it 5 stars because the lid doesn't unscrew and the pump has a small range making it difficult to transfer into smaller bottles to make it easier to travel with

I’ve tried ultrasun before, but not this Sports one. Very pleased with it - we wanted something that would feel like ‘nothing’ on the skin and this is 95% there! There is a slight residue - but about the same as a body cream or body oil would leave. My husband cycles a lot, so we needed something that would withstand sweat, weather etc well - so far, so v good!!

I always use ultrasun. It's a great product and only needs to be applied once a day so no constant reapplying
