Is this good for slime?

It is good but it's comes in very small packages 📦

According to the Crayola website and answers on Amazon.com Crayola Model Magic products are wheat/gluten free. However after a little digging they do say on the Belgian website which is the only Crayola website with information on it I could find about this - they say that they do as a company use the same factory line to make Model Magic as other products that do contain gluten. They state that they clean the machines thoroughly between production uses, but acknowledge there is a slight possibility of trace elements. In my opinion if a person was particularly sensitive to gluten or wheat, they may prefer knowing this to make an informed choice.

Is thisnthe foam stuff or more like plasticine?

More like plasticine. Hardens very quickly.
