Is there a standard or max amount of amps this unit provides?

10A is the max after which I'd imagine the safety overload would cut in. But for all purposes, 10A is more than sufficient to power a standard car/bike compressor and most camping cooling gear. You can also leave it on as it has a cooling fan like you find on laptop adaptors. It did the job : where my bike's own power outlet failed, so am totally happy.

Will this work with a dometic coolfreeze compressor portable fridge 12-24 volts DC output?

How hot does it get and how noisy is the fan? Thinking of using it near sleeping area of a tent...

I have used it many times for the tyre inflator. Being outside in daytime, I am not aware of any noise - before and after the inflator kicks in. Neither am I aware of any significant heat, after inflating all 4 tyres. I should not think those 2 issues would be a problem. I must say, I am very pleased with it, linking a heavy-usage car inflator with the mains.
