Does this contain ascorbic acid? why is it only 5% when most serums contain 20% vitamin c

Hello Andydx, I will try to answer your question. The product that you are referring to is Hyaluronic Acid, which contains 20% Vitamin C, concentrate. However, this is not Oz Naturals Vitamin C serum, which contains 20% of Vitamin C concentrate in the serum.The difference is that Oz Naturals Vitamin C serum should be applied first right after cleansing, (and a toner if that is what you use). The difference in the two products is the following.Vitamin C serum penetrates through the upper layers of the skin to nourish the lower layers. These lower layers eventually move to the surface of the skin, and this new layer will be healthier (and look younger), because it has been nourished before growing up toward the surface. Hyaluronic Acid (which is the product that you are referring to) does not permeate through the skin layers. Instead, it remains on the top surface layer. The purpose of Hyaluronic Acid, is that is retains 1000 times the amount of moisture, and it maintains this moisture, helping to keep the top surface layer hydrated.Therefore, the order of application after cleansing; first Oz Naturals Vitamin C Serum, which contains 20% of the Vitamin C concentrate and permeates down deeper through the skin cells. Then the next application would be Oz Naturals Hyaluronic Acid, (a 20% vitamin C concentrate) which retains the moisture and keeps the skin hydrated.Both are the maximum concentrates that you would want to use on your skin.

Which is best for 50 year old

Oz is good, if used correctly, smooth the serum on, dont rub it in like cream! Follow up with a good moisturizer ( I use Bel essence which is an all natural intensive antiageing treatment also available on amazon) ones the oz has dried (appx. 1-2 min) lightly massage it into your skin, leave it to sink in, before you apply your normal make up! I have been useing it for about 3 wks now and I definitely can see and feel the difference. I am nearly 60 and it works for me!Regards Alex

Can I use this around the eye area?

I do use it on the upper and lower lids, but only in small amounts to avoid contact with eyes. Fantastic product, am using it in conjunction with snail gel and small creme, both from Amazon. Apply this product first, followed by the gel, then creme.

I am questioning the colour of the serum as others have. I see Oz have said its fine if its cloudy white but why do they differ in colour?

Dont buy it !!! I brought this and burnt mu face left ne with scaring on my nose and chin oz said it cant of been this product but hospital have confirmed it is and are now pursuing a court case!!!
