Well, if the length of the strap is 5.1" hole to hole, and the holes on your dresser drawers are 3.5" apart you'll have a decent loop. If you want a strap that's 3.8" hole to hole with the holes on your drawers 3.5" apart, the strap may be too taut to slip your fingers through
