Its perfect! I'm ordering 2 more actually they are that great. Snug fit unlike others! The best thing is this adapter is the only one that accepts 22mm bands I could find anywhere including ebay. 24mm bands are harder to find and it really limits your selection most other adapters for the 42mm apple watch only fit 24mm bands while this one for the 42mm apple watch accepts 22mm bands. You can find quick release bands from of course Barton which I've just ordered and will do a review but tons of companies such as Fossil sell quick release bands in store and on line. I've even bought a couple of broken fossil watches online just to take the unique metal bands off of them to use. Again simply put, go with these as over any other brand you will not be disappointing. The only slight negative is the colors appear to match perfectly with the stainless steel models so if you have an apple watch sport in space grey its not a color match but with as an example a black leather band its finds. Just something to be aware of. I also bought a skin wrap and may or may not attempt to paint one of the adapter sets to truly create something unique.

I have big wrists. And with my recent purchase of an Apple Watch, I definitely wanted a leather band. However, the band needed to be in the XL range. Credit goes to BARTON and Alpine (leather band). I recently purchased 2 pairs of Barton adapters. The black adapters feel sturdy and don’t have much play from the tension of the buckle. I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this, but it seems the Barton adapters can only slide it one-way from one side of the watch. I don’t know if that makes sense? However, it’s not a big deal. Because it doesn’t seem to have an effect on its purpose. I have only had the adapters for a day, but so far... so good. I forgot to mention the size 22mm width fit perfectly with the same said size leather band purchased.I hope the picture with everything laid out doesn’t confuse anyone. The spring bar tool does not come with the Barton adapters. That tool actually came with the leather band purchase.If there are anything changes, I will edit/update this review.

I very much like Barton watch bands but previously had no way to be able to select these bands for my Apple Watch. With these adapters I now have a larger selection of bands for my watch. The adapters come with regular lug pins but once removed many/most Barton bands have built-in "quick change" lugs/pins. Literally takes 30 seconds to change the watch band to any 22 mm watch band. So very glad to have found these. Excellent buy.

This product does what it is designed to do... It has given me the ability to use all of the 22mm watch straps that I have collected over the years with my Google WearOS device on my new Apple Watch Series 4 (44mm). Pretty cool. I have to same that they do not fit as well as Apple Authentic Watch Bands. They wiggle a bit even though they are locked into place. When I received my order from Amazon one of the adapters would not lock into place. I sent a message to Barton and heard back in under two hours. That same day they put a new set in the mail. Excellent customer service. I would certainly do business with Barton again.

I didn't even know that Apple Watch adapters existed until one day when I removed my band from the watch only to see the adapter still there. I then went to look to see if such a thing was available by itself and found these. I bought two pair of these, and they are great. They work with any 22mm watch bands, although they work best with the easy release pins. Once you put them on, they stay on, and they blend nicely with my space gray Apple watch.Once affixed to the band, they will go on the Apple watch without a problem. The adapters are also easy to remove if you want to use them with a different band. I have a number of 22mm bands, and its nice to know I can use them with my Apple Watch thanks to these. Very handy, clever product.

screws do not stay

I got this to use with an old band I had in the house. Works great. Does exactly what it says it will. My problem was the band I wanted to use is a nice thick leather one. Got the old watch off. Got the new Apple Watch on using these beauties. But I did not think it through. Yes it works. No it does not work. The Apple Watch has to be in contact with your skin to remain unlocked and for most of it's functions to work. Instead it is sitting on top of a big leather band. Looks great by the way. Only kinda works, but that is on me. These little guys do their job. I just need to think more often.

Absolutely perfect. I have a band I really like from epicwatchbands(dot)com, but, the materials they use for the connective parts is really low quality, and one side snapped after only a month or so. Rather than ditch the band, I looked for adapters like this and found the Barton. Really high quality material, and even with a band that was slightly wider at the "loop" that the pin goes through, we were able to attach the clip to the pin using needle-nose pliers. Seems solid as a rock, now. I love that it came with two adaptors, too, because I'm sure the other (non Barton) side will break sooner or later, and then I'll already have a replacement. A very cool product if you want to upgrade/fix a watch band made for Apple watches, but also many bands never intended for that use.
