Do these bend at the hinge?

The front bends to clasp shut. The back does not bend.

I assume there’s no way to “hid” the clamp? Will they alway show? Trying to hang a buffalo hide but I don’t want the clamps to show

There is no way the clips can be attached without showing. Our solution to the problem (we hung a very heavy black & white rug) we painted the clips black to contrast with the rug. Perhaps you can find a matching paint. Our rug looks great..

How many pounds will each clip hold?

They suck, will not grip well enough to support any weight
