Great product! Easy to use and removes sap very quickly. No odor or residue, and no harm to the finish on the car.

Works great
There was some sort of black asphalt or tar on the rims of my tires on my brand new suv. I hadn’t even had it a week. There’s a lot of construction and potholes that are filled in daily in my area so I’m assuming it was from one of those. I tried soap and water, some generic tire cleaner, magic erasers, nothing was taking it off. I thought it was permanent. It was splattered all over all 4 rims. I sprayed some of this on a paper towel and it came off with barely any effort. Just wiped right off. I’m keeping this on hand incase it happens again. 10/10 recommend.

Good Product, Usual Limitations
This product is my favorite tar remover. It is a liquid organic solvent which therefore makes it perfect to dissolve tar (which is also organic). However, since it's a liquid, it's runny, and it drips off larger tar spots before it fully dissolves it, making repeat applications necessary. I'm not sure there's any way around this. If it wasn't liquid, it wouldn't dissolve tar as well.

Works in seconds!!
I’ve gotta say this has to be the most enthusiastic review I’ve ever left for a product. For some reason I’ve been collecting tar and grime around my wheel wells that are marking up the side of my Mercedes C 300. I took it to a car wash a dozen times I took it to a manual car wash that has those pressure hoses on it. No matter what I did, it would not come off. I sprayed this on and within 10 seconds I could just wipe it off. Works like magic.

Absolutely worthless on old tree sap! Save your money and buy a clay bar kit or respray it.
I recently bought a used black Lexus GX. Unfortunately the previous owner was not very smart (or blind) and so they let a huge clump of tree sap sit on the fender and bake in the sun for a very long time. I purchased this spray-on remover in hopes that it would at least soften up the sap, but it did absolutely nothing to help! The only thing that helped me remove the sap on the surface was a Meguiar’s clay bar kit… but let me tell you a little secret about old tree sap, it is extremely acidic and EATS the clearcoat and paint underneath it.After removing the tree sap from my car the stain is still visible like a fossil underneath it and my Lexus collision center has informed me that the only way to remove it is to re-spray the entire fender for the cost of about $900. I’m sure I could get it repaired for cheaper somewhere else, but it will probably never properly match.Learn a lesson from my mistake. STOP wasting money trying to remove the tree sap from your car if it’s been on there for longer than a year and just have it professionally repaired. Some of these products may help you if the tree sap is still fresh or if you have a more forgiving color vehicle, but if your vehicle is black like mine forget about it. It will probably never go away unless it’s professionally fixed.

You might want to use this outside ! It’s smelly.
Smells just like WD40 which it might be IDK didn’t work the greatest for me. I did wait an awfully long time to use this on 5 year old baked on sap. Also stopped some squeaks on my beer wagon ! Yeah you read right, beer wagon !

This works great on pine tar!
Finally something that works on stuck on pine tar. Use as instructed and it might take two sprays to get really stubborn sap and tar off but it will get it off.
