Creative ideas to use with existing Lego pieces
I bought this for my nephew because I think it's ridiculous to buy new sets of Legos that only build one thing. He loved the book and started building an entire town with his existing Lego pieces.

Ideas only, not instructions
Bought for my 5 year old Lego fanatic. There are lots of ideas but as he pointed out there are no instructions and he was a little defeated because many of the ideas as pictured required special pieces we didn't have. He enjoyed looking at all the pages and different builds.

Great gift for an active lego fan
Gifted this book to a 6 year old prior to shool vacation. She loves it. The book gives her ideas and she builds items based on photos or if she's inspired to build something else, she does.

My son loves these books!
My 9 year old son is a LEGO aficionado. He has all of my bricks from when I was a kid and my husband’s from when he was a kid, plus all the ones he had amassed over his life. The issue is that all those neat little sets get mixed together and become a huge mess of LEGO Bricks.I bought his first LEGO Idea book a couple of years ago because he said he ran out of ideas of what to build. He LOVES that book to this day and I have added on others since then. When he saw there was a new edition out he begged for it for Christmas.I received it and opened it up and wow! What cool ideas!I love how these books inspire him to work with the bricks he already has and get his problem solving skills going to find substitutions for ones he doesn’t have.I highly recommend these for anyone who has a kid that loves legos or just had a lot of legos and needs inspiration for using them.

It really is just an ideas book- no instructions included
Returned. Bought is to use with a 1500 piece general Lego set that includes minimal building/projects to build. This is just a lot of pictures- ideas… an older kid or adult could pull it together but this does not work for a self-directed 5 year old who build 8 year old specific sets all the time. And after reading the reviews for the Built It lego book series, they aren’t the answer either. Very frustrating… went to our local Legoland store. The sales clerk confirmed that what we want can be found free on the internet. We will look…
