Is this product pink colored like the Glass Wax of yesteryear that used to come in a can?

Closest I could find like the old can version is Glass Wax by Arrow. On Amazon...just in a bottle. Yes, it dries to a white powder that you wipe off with a damp towel.

Can you use this product with glass wax stencils? Is it easy to remove?

Absolutely! I used this product last Christmas for a set of 1959 Glass Wax stencils found on eBay. It does not come out pink but it works fine for stencils. It is also easy to clean up. Wash any tools in soap and water. Wipe the windows at the end of the season with a soft cloth. It comes off easily. Beware, there is a similar product in a black bottle that does not work as well for stencils. I bought both products last year on Amazon to do stencils, tried both, and reviewed both in January 2020. If you are doing stencils, this is the one you want.

how much product should be used?

Always use a damp sponge to apply. I'd start with about a tablespoon and spread it very thinly on the glass. Of course, the amount will also depend on the size of the window being cleaned. I live in a hot, dry climate so in summer I do sections of glass as it dried so quickly. The feature I appreciate most is that you can easily see where you have wiped away the product as it becomes a white film as it dries.

Can this be used for window stenciling like the old pink version?

Yes, I have used this product for about four years now for window stenciling at Christmas and it works really well. Could no longer get the pink stuff in a can so tried a few different brands and this works the best. I add a little corn starch to thicken, because that is what my Dad did with the pink stuff, keeps it from running.
