I'm hesitant to give my dog anything so I did what every responsible dog owner would do, I tried it first. Did some work outside that day and pounded one of these prior to sweating the lbs off. Honestly, taste wise it's not horrible sort of watery. Felt no different than drinking a Gatorade just no sugar high. After 24 hours of no ill effects I gave about half a pouch to my pooch before a long walk around the neighborhood on a 85F day. He's not a water drinker and seems often dehydrated after these walks, but that day he was a bit different. Less tongue more explore. Mind you, my dog suffers from a particularly weak stomache which often leads to diarrhea or lethargy. He may also just take after his owner, but I digress. I gave him the second half or so of the easy to sip pouch upon our return home. So far so good. As per usual we retired to couch for some evening pets, followed by a light dinner of prescription wet food and some low fat dog treats. He was perfectly fine and seemed significantly more hydrated and happy. I'd say it works great. I'm at the mercy of future technology that allows me to understand my dogs words, but until that time I go off of instinct and my instinct tells me this is an excellent product.

My dog had leg surgery and for the first day post-op, she wouldn’t drink. I ordered some just to have a backup plan other than returning to the vet. My dog drank a whole bowl. I ended up repurchasing twice as she just lost her appetite for water. After about 5 days she started drinking plain water again. This broth saved her and us during her recovery. Great to have in hand.

I buy this all the time for my dog. I put a splash or two on his dry food each night and he scarfs it up. Its very expensive if you use as directed - but used as a splash of flavor it last much longer and is affordable.

I made the mistake in buying 3 ea, my 10 year old female dog laped it up for a few minutes in the morning, but through the day she never returned for more, the product has what she needs, I sure it;s a quality product, she has become very picky, even with treats.

My dog is not well, so I bought this hoping he would benefit from hydrating further. He is not that excited about it, unfortunately. I think the average dog (healthy) would like it, though.

Bought this for my dog who was constipated, not eating, or drinking water. Overall not himself. I put him on fiber supplements but with that he has to drink enough fluids and he wasn’t. We were at the diarrhea stage so I knew I had to get something to hydrate him and help the fiber supplements do it’s job. This doggyrade did the trick. For his size he needs two of them but to stretch the 3-pack I got out I have him one pouch a day. I gave him fiber chews, his doggyrade (he slurped it up immediately!), then his dog food — which he actually ate, licked the whole bowl clean! Previously he had barely taken some nibbles maybe once a day. I was so happy. His next poop was perfect and he was back to his post-poop zoomies! (: I will definitely be buying more of this product.
