How often do you have to burp this mattress? Does it get air bubbles quickly?

I'd check it at regular intervals when you change the bedclothes. My experience, back about 40 years, is that you will probably burp the mattress several times in the first six months, then almost never.

You have to burp the air out of the mattress. I have a California king and what you do is open the valves at the bottom then lay on the top of the mattress and slowly roll your body toward the end to get out the air and then put the plugs back in while you're still laying on it and it should be just fine. I have had waterbeds for 47 years now and I've been through many different mattresses and this seems the only way to burp them.

Assuming you mean filled, inside a hard waterbed frame. About 1,400 or 1,500 pounds. The mattress itself, in the box, probably 20 or 25 pounds.
