The insurance company for our condo complex required us to put up fire extinguishers on our walkways. These are nice and visible, give a little protection from the weather. Extinguishers are still ready to access

This product does not fit our need. The case is not meant for industrial usage.

Sure wish I had known this needed a hanger for the extinguishers. Putting a 10 lb extinguisher in the box makes it warp and if you are using in an outdoor application the bottom of the extinguisher rusts and the extinguisher won’t pass a fire inspection. A $80 fire box cost the loss of a $90 extinguisher plus a bad inspection by the fire marshal.

The plastic cover cracked either in transit or before it even shipped (see photo), the product is currently unavailable, and I don't have time to wait for a replacement. I need this in place now for insurance regulations. So I'll just tape it back together and deal with it.

I ordered this cabinet to install outside, as I"m required too have a fire extinguisher near my fireplace on the patio. I thought a 10lb fire extinguisher would be better than the smaller "just in case". (Fire Extinguisher must be purchased separately. A 10lb unit is pretty heavy, so I'm hopeful this case will last and handle that weight. It looks fine, but seems pretty flimsy/lightweght. It shouldn't get any use or abuse, so it should last, but time will tell. It's bright and will get noticed, which is the point I guess
