Use sealant

Really nice tap seems good quality for the price it's brilliant. Only snag is the small rubber seal on the base isn't good. I just added some sealant to protect water damage to the countertop.

Extremely loud

The media could not be loaded. Extremely loud when in use. As far as We can make out, the noise is coming from the shape of the mixing valve inside the tap stem, so We don’t think anything can be done. It’s quieter when using just hot or just cold, but very noisy when mixing both. The noise is extremely loud.
