Tried 3 other brands all naff my last one of these lasted 9 years less efficient but still works, a class above anything under £300

The unit itself starts up like a car engine but settles down to a bearable purr. The window fitting included unfortunately doesn’t fit our windows. We bought another incredibly stupid window ‘tent’ from another company which includes putting velcro around your window and securing the ‘tent’ arrangement to it, which works to a point. The machine emits heat which separates the velcro which then brings heat into the room, so trials going on at the mo, otherwise the unit is quite good. Haven’t used sleep mode or the remote as yet.Also, the lowest coolest temperature is 18degrees and I wish it could be colder.

I bought this aircon 11 months ago and registered for the 2 year warranty when purchased and received email thanking me for registering. However, I now find 11 months in and I’ve not used it since last summer that the power button on the machine is no longer working.I’ve gone online to see if I can get it fixed under warranty however Igenix site no longer recognises my email address for the registered warranty. When I return to the email and click on any links it sends me to a dormant web page. So how do I get it fixed ?

Item has stopped reaching temperature, we have a 5 month old baby and set on 18 but the temperature of the room won’t go below 24 degrees!! Contacted customer service who offered to collect the item and refund in full then replied the next day saying they won’t do it now! Colleagues need retraining as awful customer service and product isn’t meeting expectations so I wouldn’t bother.

This unit was great. It managed to bring down a 7mx6m room to comfortably when the outside temp was 38degC. Easy controls.. is a bit too noisy for me as I'm a light sleeper.Only downside is the exhaust vent connection is a bit cumbersome and need taping up to prevent it from coming out. The window attachment is for sliding windows not swing opening. ...Still worth the money

Initially it was fine. Cooled down room really well. However the water tank keeps filling up. It only runs a few hours and needs to be emptied. Keeps going off in the in the night. Will be returning it.

The extractor hose doesn't properly isolate the heat. It is hard to attach it to the connectors (compared to similar products). The AC itself stops cooling the room after a while.
