How do I get a charger and extra batteries?

If you don't already have the charger and battery for other ridgid tools, then you would need to buy them separately. Just search ridgid gen5x charger and battery, should be many available.

Can you use 20 volt battery

ridgid doesnt make 20 v batteries. use only ridgid batteries in ridgid tools
