Softens. Not greasy. Protective moisture barrier.
Wonderful cream. Goes on thick, but in a few minutes it leaves a nice protective moisture barrier on my skin. I can wash dishes without gloves after using this lotion. My hands are softer once again. I use this on my legs which are very dry. They feel so much better once I use this lotion. Moisturizes without leaving a greasy residue.

It works..
I have a scoatch of atopic eczema from time to time.. This stuff seems to help massively. I wish i could still find it in my store..Edit: I thought they had changed the formula when i bought this stuff the last time. I think i just got a tube that had been tampered with.. maybe cut, at some point, with a different unscented had lotion. As colloidal oatmeal is not necessarily regulated by the fda, such 'medicated' cosmetics don't have to arrive sealed. However, I've found that MG217 tubes typically will come with a removable seal. Make sure this is the case, as the one tube that didn't work as well arrived unsealed, which at the time i thought was odd. I've also tried the GoldBond Colloidal oatmeal cream and, though it is also very good (I prefer MG217), the tubes are not sealed.

Non Greasy
Only a few eczema lotions actually do as they describe and this is one of them! It’s incredibly moisturizing and leaves a non-greasy feel! It does go on thick so you have to rub it in a bit, but once you do, you’re set for the whole day! Also very calming due to the colloidal oatmeal, it’s hard to find lotion with more than 1%!

AMAZING RELIEF
I recently broke out in either eczema or psoriasis. not sure which. one oval patch on my left forearm, about 2x2. Another patch under my right knee and some along the bottom of my hairline and neck. I also have a yeast overgrowth, so am taking oil of oregano for that [Metagenetics brand]. I think the OOO is starting to work.I tried other lotions which didn't work or made it itchier. This brand is great! it not only stopped the itching, it started to heal the patches. they are getting smaller and less red. the ones on my neck that I can't see no longer itch and I can feel with my fingers that they are getting smaller. this is an amazing product.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Not bad but not a fix for eczema
We have eczema in our family. And I’m trying to do without all the steroids the doctor keeps giving my kiddo. So I’m on the hunt for a lot of things that will help. I did a lot of research and unfortunately steroids work best for the bumps and flare ups. And what works for one, will not work for another person. This product is just lotion, nothing special. I use it on my dry hands here and there. But I think aquaphor works better for dry hands than this does.

Most Healing Cream for Eczema & Irritated Skin
When I purchased Neosporin's Eczema Cream a few years ago, I rarely used it but by the time I did use it up, I could no longer find it.I purchased MG217 based on the excellent reviews and I must tell you that it is that best cream ever for irritated, dry, inflamed skin. I do not have eczema but my skin is very sinsitive to almost everything. This stuff feels wonderful after you apply it, almost as though it is cooling the skin but not unpleasant. And it doesn't take too much, just a dab.If you are looking for a replacement for the Neosporin Excema cream, try this. You will love it.
