We purchased these for our trip to France, used them for charging phones and stuff as well as my hair curler. They worked great.

This plug adapter works well for its intended purpose. It allows you to plug in a regular "US" 120v plug and plug the adapter into a European style outlet. You do need to be sure the item you're plugging into it will operate correctly at the likely higher voltage present at the outlet.I used this to be able to plug a voltage converter I have, which did not have a European style plug, into a European style outlet. The voltage converter brings the voltage down to 120 volts for low-wattage devices. I liked the fact that it has both two and three prong outlets on it. Just keep in mind that there's no ground pin on the other end so it's likely that there will be no actual ground connection using this adapter.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was traveling in Europe only to find that my international adapter didn't fit in some of the outlets. It had the right plug, but I kept running into outlets with a deep well where the prongs plug in. The adapter I had brought had prongs that were flush with the body of the adapter. I was able to borrow this adapter from a fellow traveler where the prongs stuck out from the unit, so I could use it in the weird outlets with the deeper well. As soon as I returned from my trip I ordered my own. Since it's a set of two, I'll have an extra the next time someone needs a solution for one of those deep well outlets.

I liked the design of this travel adapters. they are nice and easy for usage. I gave 4 stars because they are not so durable and one of the legs of one broke while trying to pull of but happily the package was two, so I started using the other one. Anyway they are cheap and the design is perfect. So I am happy with my purchase and I still have one working.

Buen funcionamiento

I bought a pack of two for a trip to Portugal. It was a last minute purchase when we realized that the one I already had was large and heavy (it covers electrical systems in several countries) and that we would need more than one. The shipment arrived in two days, which was only one day before we left. They worked great, they are very compact and the price is right. It is surprising how many things we need to plug in. We could have used a couple more.

bought two packs - so four adapter's. 3 worked fine during our 3 week trip to italy but a prong broke off one adapter and the seller credited me back immediately! Excellent customer service!
