I’ve tried several WiFi extenders with mixed results—most were unreliable. This one, however, just works. It integrates seamlessly with the Unifi platform. My Cloud Key immediately discovered it, adopted it, and updated the firmware without issue.I now have two of these: one extends WiFi to my front door for a doorbell camera, and the other reaches my service panel where I have a Sense energy monitor. Both connections are now fast and reliable—far better than before.One thing to note: although it only uses one outlet, the unit covers the entire wall receptacle, making the second outlet unusable.Overall, Ubiquiti gear continues to be a great value. If you're already using the Unifi platform and need to boost your WiFi range, I highly recommend this extender.

Joins up with the network just fine, easy adoption, seamlessly extends range.Only downside is the ridiculous shape that completely covers the entire wall outlet despite only needing one plug.

I already had an ubiquity dream machine set up as my router, and as soon as I powered this AP on impaired seamlessly using the app. All of my devices with previous weeks signal. In the other end of the house now have amazing connection. I would highly recommend this if you need an access.

The actual product is fine. It was able to mesh successfully and easy to setup. Unfortunately it didn’t penetrate our brick walls and provide the speed I was looking for. It’s clear I would need to upgrade to WiFi 6 for higher bandwidth to get what I was looking for after testing this out.The issue came up when I returned it. The system showed that I would have to pay for the return shipping fees (which is fine since it wasn’t prime). However upon return the seller kept 50% for restocking fee claiming since it was used I can’t get a full return. I used it for a total of 1 hour to run some tests and that is clearly unreasonable. Moreover, I was sent a picture showing there was a smudge on it (easily wipeable). I would encourage other buyers to choose a different vendor for this or just work with ubiquity directly. Taking 50% from the total purchase for restocking is crazy, I’ve bought many electronics on this platform or even in brick and mortar stores like Best Buy and as long as there wasn’t an abuse and over use (which I understand) it’s always a full refund if the device just doesn’t fit your need.

I am completing my Wi-Fi network and had an area without coverage and since the other equipment I have is from that brand, I decided to buy this equipment.

Installed 2 of these to spread signal to the far reaches of a very long L-shaped building.Already have 4 total UniFi AP pro's (2) and lite's (2) units on a server hosted controller, but it was not enough for the additional 40-60ft at the farthest ends of the building, leaving a conference room and 3 rooms on the other side with no internet at all, or 1 bar at best.Added these and initially had an "isolated" error on 1 of them, had to bring it in closer to one of the Pro APs during adoption, after running a pin hole reset (30 seconds hold) on it, then it adopted and pulled in the WLANs and SSIDs perfectly. Then I moved it back to where it was supposed to be and it's perfect now. Experience is 90-100% on all devices now, runs Beautifully.

This is wonderful to increase internet range. Just plug it in the direction you want to increase your service and progam to your router and it works! It does give off a good light so you can always tell when it is working. Definitely worth the money if you want to increase your range..

Unlike the new WiFi 6 version, this is probably the best extender Unifi has created so far. It has a great range and works better than expected with seamless roaming. So far I'm very happy with the purchase.
