This is dewormer only contains Ivermectin.

Q: 12 mg ivermectin = how much paste?

12 mg of IVM would be 1/10 of the tube, roughly. Each tube has 114 mg IVM + apple-flavored filler. Obviously, your horse would freak if you put a nasty-tasting medication directly in his/her mouth. The paste in the tube weighs 6080 mg, so that 12 mg dose of IVM would be in 608 mg (1/10th of 6080) of paste. You must have a miniature horse requiring a small dose. It would be easiest to measure the paste by weight by dispensing the paste onto a slice of apple on a tiny digital scale. Each animal in your herd may require a different dose if their weights are significantly different.
