The microphone wire length is good, approx 6 meters.The good thing is that It comes with an extra tie-clip & windshield and LR44 battery.It captures noise, so do recordings only in a noise-free atmosphere. Or use Audacity software for noise cancellation.Overall I am happy with the pocket-friendly product.
