The Black Rubber Mulch Border is a 10-foot roll designed for landscaping, made from recycled rubber tires. It provides a natural-looking, permanent barrier for flower beds and vegetable gardens, promoting healthier plant growth through improved water aeration. Edging
I use a lot of this alongside brick and stone edging. I use metal staples to install rather than thek plastic spikes provided.

Looks Good
It lays very nicely, looks good. Spikes are useless, bend easily in hard ground.

Good Product but Purchase Stakes Separately
I installed this mulch border this past weekend and it was easy to roll out in an area I had already weeded between the lawn and a bank full of plants. I appreciated how easy it was to roll out and the durability of the product seems sound. I am hoping that it lasts for a very long time and that it will create the barrier necessary to keep grass and clover from growing into the plants. On criticism is the stakes are useless. I tried to drive two of them into the ground and both broke. I ended up using a few metal stakes that I had on hand from a previous project. Fortunately, it is a heavy border, so for my purposes, I think it will only need to be staked at each end.

Flower bed edging
I cut it in half and tape it. Made a flower bed edging out of it so water can flow through it.

Not good
These strips do not have any backing paper the way other, competitive strips do. Since these strips seemed thinner than the competitive strips, that is a real concern. The plastic spikes that come with them were bent in the packaging and impossible to get in even rain soaked wet ground without breaking. I will not be buying these again.Update: 2 new discoveries -1. Without the cloth backing, the mulch strips shrink in cold weather, leaving gaps between strips placed side by side. No, when warner weather comes they do not expland.2. The vendor promised me a refund on February 20, that should appear in my account in 5-7 business days. Had that happened, I likely would have given another star for a good customer service action. After nearly a month, no refund has shown up. Now down to one star.I appealed to Amazon after the 7 business days that the promise had not been fulfilled. So far, no word beyond having received my concern. However, I do understand that Amazon's investigation may take a while.

The Stakes bend & break when anchoring BUT UPDATE:
UPDATE: After giving a low score, the seller contacted me and offered a refund because the stakes were unsatisfactory. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy (I bought other stakes)- I appreciate people like this so I give the SELLER ***** (5 stars). The stakes are terribly flimsy, they bend easily and are not sturdy enough to pound into ground unless you've rototilled first. The product is very difficult to cut, but lays down easily. Not a good value for the $ since you only get 10' for $30.00 or so. Nice for by fencing, but again, you need to purchase new stakes to use because these rubbery plastic ones are just not useable. I broke 3 out of 4 when I tried to pound them into soil after a rain.

Too narrow
Strip is too narrow to simulate mulch.
