Best wireless mouse at its price
First of all, yes, the battery life, to some users can be abysmal. I am using 4 rechargeable min, 930 mAh AAA batteries, 2 at a time. So, I always have batteries ready. The LED of the mouse wheel flashes at a regular interval when the batteries are running low. When it starts to flash every 5 minutes, it is time to change the battery. Once I got used to this changing battery rhythm, I don't think about it too much. I also found out the reason for batteries being drained so quickly. This mouse has two methods to connect to PC wireless, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz. We all know that wireless connection via Bluetooth has lagged. In the old days, all wireless mouses were connected via Bluetooth and hence I avoided them until now. This mouse when connected via 2.4 GHz, there is no noticeable lag at all. But because of the polling method, it will inevitably use up a lot of power, hence draining the batteries fairly quickly. But at £35, with great response, fitting the palm comfortably, this mouse worth at least 4.5 stars, if not 5.

Wireless Model
I had a Razer Mamba, Deathadder, Diamondback, Corsair mouses etc and this is my favourite. The material is great. My issue with Razer, is they all feel kinda hollow, cheap and light. But this feels really well built, like Corsair mouses.Weights are really handy, although I thought they were a gimmick at first, I actually really like this feature.Material - super quality rubb and plastic usedButtons - all feel even and solid, good quality, unlike Razer where sometimes one button is better than the other side. Or the scroll wheel feels cheap, this scrool wheel feels sturdy, quality and solid.RGB is pretty good too. Software is good, no bugs and easy to configureThe colour of this mouse and the material match all my SS products perfectly. It matches the rubber texture of the keyboard wrst rest, and the headphone stand has the same grey colour as the side of the mouse, my Dac has the same texture as both mouse and keyboard. It all goes together so nicely, looks great.Battery life is really good too, cable plugged in also feels okay, but obvs prefer in wireless modeThe feet slide nice and smooth.AND no issue with side panels coming unglued. I'm not sure how people are getting this issue where the rubber comes off, my side rubber panels are great, feel well stuck on, and I've had sweaty hands and warm weather touching them for hours and nothing has come unstuck. Great mouse!

Decent budget option, but not a good product for competitive environments
I have been using the Rival 3 wireless for 3 months and have been satisfied with it's performance as a casual mouse. It is a huge step up from your average office mice. On the other hand, this mouse is no where near as good as some mice you can get for less than £45 from Chinese manufacturers, such as the Zaopin Z1 Pro or the ATTACK SHARK X3. If you can afford to spend a bit more, I would recommend doing so.The shape of the mouse is very comfortable for long sessions, but I found it a bit big for my hands when using a palm grip (hand size is 18cmx10cm ). If you were to get this mouse for gaming, I would use a claw or a fingertip grip. Other than that, the quality of the shape for very good, and after 3 months of heavy use there are no visible scratches. The scroll wheel and other buttons are great. The sensor was very accurate and I experienced no problems which couldn't be solved by just using the software for the mouse, which is very user friendly and practical. This mouse had some big downsides. This mouse with both batteries in weighs in at 108g, which puts it on the heavier side. The mouse also feels sluggish as the input delay is around 13.3ms. Finally, the battery life isn't something to write home about as it lasts a month with 2 batteries. Finally, the biggest problem with this mouse is connectivity issues. If the mouse enters sleep mode, you have to pray that it reconnects. This issue became less common the more I used it, but if the problem ever occurred I would have to restart my PC which is a deal breaker.Overall, this is a good option for people on a strict budget, but I wouldn't recommend it to any hardcore gamers. But once you go from an everyday office mice to this, you can't go back.

Absolute garbage.
Unimpressive performance with the worst battery life I've ever seen in a mouse. I have bought mice half the price of these where the battery life was huge, I'm talking months and months. I bought this on the strength of they're other products (Mainly the headphone range - which I'm still a fan of). Sadly I can't say the same for this mouse. If I'm lucky I get 2-3 days worth of life out of my batteries MAX. I made a point of spending even more money on high powered Duracell rechargeable batteries designed for heavy draining items to try and combat this issue, and it made NO difference whatsoever. So I'm forever having to charge 3 pairs of AAA batteries to keep this stupid POS in power for around a week.On top of this the scroll mouse has developed a rather annoying squeak and feels like it's on it's way out already... I'm sorry but I'm going back to the £16.99 mouse I had before.Steelseries you need to sort this kinda crap out, your headphones might be good but this shambles of a mouse just boils my piss... I'll be launching it at a wall in the near future once it's replacement arrives.

Fit for purpose.
A perfect wireless mouse. It feels good, looks good and was easy to pair with my laptop. I have not found that it eats batteries. Much better than one with a wire.

Amazing mouse
One of the best mouse for gaming I ever bought. 100% recommend! For the price it sells for, it’s amazing.
