Table top easel review! Let’s go!
When working on small pieces this has been great. Very handy. A few tilted variations. Good grip on the feet so no slipping. It doesn’t have any way to stop the canvas sliding side to side though which is a bit of a flaw but a bit of rubber strip stuck on sorted that. Pretty well made and sturdy. Not thin and brittle which was a surprise. Good value for money for small paintings. I would recommend!

almost perfect
I say almost perfect as the only thing missing is some adjustments up and down for the canvas being painted. So when you want to paint the top if the canvas is large you have to stand up or turn the picture upside down. So the last picture which was about 40cm high I had to move to the usual floor standing studio easel to complete.I started with the only issue I had with this easel as it was quite simply the only issue I had with it. It's perfect for small canvas up to about 25cm as you can sit at the table and paint all areas without moving much. Good quality.I did buy a cheaper version from a different company a few years back but it was impossible to put any weight against it. The whole thing would collapse when I tried to paint. This table easel though is excellent because the way the painting angle is fixed in notches.

Perfect table top easel
I needed a portable table top easel that would take a board that is larger than A2. This is a simple and perfect solution and folds up neatly for carriage. Wood is smooth (not rough) and does not feel like it would break easily.

An excellent piece of kit. I used it on the dining room table. It was very easy to move and store when needed.

I have been looking for a table easel for a while and I am so glad I purchased this one. It fits perfectly well on my desk, so easy to set up and put away. Just love it, and it’s made painting much more enjoyable.
