Q: How does this compare to the bose soundtouch 30 series 3? i can’t see any reviews only, i’ve had the bose and it was amazing

Had a Bose Soundtouch and gave it away, not a patch on the play 5 sonos. After that I ended up replacing my bose acoustimass setup for the Sonos play base and a sub woofer and it sounds fantastic. Not cheap but well worth the spend. The Sonos app is also very good and works seamlessly.

Q: Why is this so expensive on amazon? its 200 cheaper direct from Sonos

Check it isn’t from a market seller. Amazon are usually the same as Sonos unless it’s not fulfilled by Amazon.

Q: Can i use a rca switch box to have both a cd player and turntable going into the line in?

I,think you can only use one at a time but if you have 2 Sonos fives then plug one into each.

Q: What is the correct cable needed to connect this with my Sony Bluetooth turntable - it has phono amp included

From the phono amp you just connect with a phono to 3.5mm audio jack. In the app you then need to switch to line input and make sure it knows it’s a turntable.
