I purchased this in june. i just opened it today to use. it says black on the tube, but comes out clear. i squeezed the tube, but still clear.

I purchased this product in February 2015. Mine was in same tube, but the silicone was black. The silicone worked well. Could the product maybe have separated?

Would this hold a metal panel to glass on an oven door?
