Purchased as a gift for HMS Navy. This is absolutely beautiful! The wooden box, latches and engraving are authentic in appearance. The dial is solid, sturdy and functional. Beautiful piece of work. The top lid inside box has engraved equations to accurately adjust your dial. I am well pleased with this item.

Is a nice collectable or gift for a Naval person. This one came in a paper shabby box. Upon opening the packaging was tight and of a great seal and would well protect the product. Well Done!. I found the sun dial to be attractive and functioning properly! Great gift or display item!

I didn’t get past the initial unboxing and wooden box. This definitely has the feel of a cheap badly made knock off. There is sloppy stain work on the box, part of the plaque text is either wiped off or missing, there are scuffs on the box and places that are not there to make it look aged. see pictures for what you will actually get. This was not appropriate for a nice gift for the price, and has more the feel of a bad (mass) reproduction. Back at goes.
