Fit perfect and instruction very clear to understand.Big difference in lower end torque.Very good quality with good hardware.I removed the factory noise maker and used the plug from airraid. I would recommend this cold air intake.

UPDATE:Item does fit, but the design of the Product, allows tons of water in the filter area. Rained last night, car sitting, and the filter tray had about 2 cups of water in it and the filter was SOAKED!!!!!!! AGAIN it shouldn't matter, but the car was NOT driven in the rain and the filter was wet and allowing water into the engine.fits perfect, but there are two issues.1 - they didn't send the proper instructions in the box.2- their youtube instructional video.. where did you record the video from, the next room? not a single shot up close to show what the person was doing. For a high priced-top of the line model, you think they would make sure their customers didn't have to guess. Also no directions on the heat shield!

I was undecided on which CAI to purchase for my 2011 Mustang GT convertible. After reading numerous reviews on other websites, I took the plunge. I can't say enough good thing about the quality and fitment of this CAI. The plastic is extremely thick and high quality. Every part you would need is included and the installation instructions are so easy! Did I mention the intake "howl" after you install this part? I left the sound tube intact because my wife likes it. It just screams now when you accelerate hard. Worth every dime!

The fit was excellent although a little challenging when putting on the rubber gasket at the top of the airbox. The intake sound is improved over stock and I gained one MPG on the highway and about 2 around town when I can keep my foot out of it! 2012 Mustang GT

The Airaid jr kit was half the price of all the others everywhere. When I orderd it was 3rd party and said it would take about a month or so to ship. Well it was worth the wait. I got it in about 2-3 weeks! A+ seller fair and reasonable pricing.

It's hard to judge hp increase with this unit alone, because I also installed a BBK 85mm throttle body at the same time. First I installed the race tune by BAMA, then drove it and saw quite a hp increase. Then I installed the CAI and throttle body. Wow! What a difference. It will definitely throw you back in the seat with both mods and the tune.There are things I can attribute to the CAI alone though...I can tell the car is breathing much better. You can hear quite a bit more air sucking in. Sorta reminds me of the sound of the old holley 4 barrels kicking in when you stomp it (old muscle cars had things called carburetors on them that sucked air and fuel...and pretty much blew most of it straight out the tailpipe).Installation was sorta tedious and time consuming but not difficult with the instructions. Just be ready to spend an hour or so.

This CAI really added a few extra horses this my mustang 5.0 but the fit around the carb and the beginning of the tube was offset meaning that the tube was around 3/4 of an inche higher than the carb. The bottom line is that it fits and work. One more note, it feels like the engine rides more rougher and not as smooth as before.

Utilizes the factory air duct, is convertible from "no tune" application to "tuned" application. Great fitment and looks great! Get one!!
