I like the heft of the tankard. Its pleasantly sturdy whilst not being heavy. Holds a very nice amount of mead, or vessel of your choice. Very nice for festive drinking.

It arrived fine, has been used once according to instructions and has cracked down the side exposing the stainless steel mug inside. We’ve only had it two days. I’m really disappointed, it was a gift for my partner and he loved it but it’s developed a fault so fast: I would not recommend.

UPDATE: Purchased a second mug and it arrived broken. The handle wasn't attached and the mug was already split.This item was bought as a gift. Initially the recipient was absolutely thrilled with the tankard, but after two or so weeks of use after Christmas the wood had completely split vertically down one side. So as great as the item first seemed, I am completely disappointed with the item.

If only the metal part was lower for the wood corners it would be 5 stars, but its uncomfortable to drink from it if im not drunk.
