DO NOT BUY. The Pool Eye I received cannot be turned off and the alarm goes off so much I had to remove the battery. Since I did not try it out prior to the Amazon return window closing, I attempted to contact the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. Don't count on any warranty support; I've called and left a message and submitted a request for support via the mfr website ---- NO RESPONSE at all. Amazon should not do business with this vendor.

The pool alarm is very loud. The sensitivity seems just right - little stuff doesn't set it off, but I'm confident that it'll go off if my kid ever falls in.

I would have gave it 5 stars but there is no off switch.

Cheap alterntive. Works sporadicly. Only external alarm.

Way too sensitive even with the setting on low and the shield attached. The on/off buttons also did not work properly and as a result, there was no way to turn it off. It went off multiple times due to wind so I eventually just had to unplug the top.

Ordered this for my inground pool. The first one we got didn't have any instructions with it, but we figured it out. Tested it and you could barely hear it. Put another new battery and still very low. Called Amazon to return and replace, second one came and we put it on pool , the alarm was very loud, but would not turn off unless you disconnected it. Then in the middle of the night it started alarming and it wasn't even connected to the pole or near the water. Now have to buy another brand and hope the holes I drilled in my coping match up. Don't waste your money

Even at the lowest sensitivity level the alarm doesn't stop even though no one was in the pool; tried different alternatives but no one worked.
