They are heavier than other snap caps i’ve used and have a smaller lip than the actual shells that I use in my shotgun so there’s occasional feeding issues while using.

I continue to use several sidelock shotguns crafted before WW1. Dry firing is an absolute no-no with these old guns. The dead caps on these snap caps are super easily replaced, come with spares should they ever require changing. Well thought out solution reasonably priced, and far preferable to releasing hammer tension with the recevier against your workbench or horn striker.

They do the job.

Can’t say that there’s anything I dislike about this brand of snap caps. What I like about this company is they’ve included replaceable primers. Who knows when the original ones will give out but for the price I think it’s a great deal. I’ll say I haven’t had them long, but my initial impression so far is I’ll be coming back for more in the future. I’ve tried other brands and I think these are for the win. Great product, I hope they hold up for some time.

I saw a few people who said these things get damaged quick, but man they got banged up after racking them 3 times. Look at my pictures, this ran through the shotty 3x, kid you not.. and they look like a old baseball bat now.. I think I'll try plastic, maybe they will last longer. Well, I read the reviews, can't say someone didn't warn me. Should have only bought 1 set, but I got 2 sets..Update: customer service reached out to me and helped me out, so I must give a few stars for the outstanding service.
