Amazing product!!! Read my review!
The "science nerd" in me went crazy when I heard about this product on a kids science program on TV... I had to purchase it to teach my kids about gallium! It takes a few minutes, but the small pieces WILL melt with the heat of your hands! When you are done "playing" your hands will look sooty, like you folded some newspapers, but the residue washes off very easily with a bit of handsoap. My 9-yr old loves playing with it! This is a very nice kit that is perfect for educational purposes and would be an excellent gift for anyone with school-age kids! Great value for what you recieve!

A little bit messy but a whole lot of fun bringing out science curiosity in kids of all ages
Man this stuff is a Lot of fun to play with, we used some play-doe to make serval different molds/shapes then just poured the liquid metal into them and let them get cold After sitting on the front porch for a while we ended up with some cool looking little figurines afterwords, just be careful and make sure that you put some type of barrier underneath this stuff because even a very small amount of spillage will leave long dark marks on what ever it comes in contact with. maybe even ware some latex type gloves because it will stain your fingers as well

Great for teaching melting points of metals
We loved this expensive kit and playing with the very messy melting metal. I did have issues melting the metal without making a mess and I couldn’t figure out the best way to do that. However, very very educational and fun. This metal is being used to help horses lungs at A&M university. This product could easily be turned into a science study about melting points of metals and uses for metals for helping animals or humans. Glad we bought it!

Fun and safe science tool.
My son and I have enjoyed performing experiments, playing and feeling the texture of liquid metal. When I was a kid in the '70's we played with mercury so it's nice today to have a safe liquid metal for my son to explore with.
