If your club car symptom is limp mode and no roll away alert...
Just to share experience: my club car had the symptom of accelerating when stepping on the pedal, but then immediately decelerating to a very slow speed (limp mode as they call it). I did some research and one person suggested to run the car for a few feet, then get off it (leave all switches where they are when you ran it) and push it by hand. If the club car start beeping (roll away alert), the speed sensor is good. If not, its bad. Mine didn't beep, so I ordered this sensor. Replacement was super easy. It runs normal now.

Fits GEM also (2005-2015?)
Bought it for my 2005 POLARIS GEM with 3hp motor. It was V E R Y close to fitting perfectly, but I had to file a little off of the outside because it was too large to force into the end of the motor. Functions as it should and the price is 1/2 of what the dealer wants.
